A Heart for Jesus by Juanita Bynum

"Ms. Bynum presents the Good News in such a tender, loving way that it made my heart smile! Never have I read such a wonderful illustration for children to explain the glorious transformation Jesus can do in a heart."

A Heart for Jesus by Juanita Bynum and wrote: "This book not only will help your kids understand what it means to accept Jesus as Savior and live for him, but it would be a wonderful outreach tool for your children's friends."

Product Picks by Caryn Rivadeneira

"A Heart for Jesus is visually as excellent as anything out there, especially for girls."
Daryl Oldenburg, Parent, Fort Worth, TX

"I was reading A Heart for Jesus to the kids that live next door to the church. The kids really enjoyed it. I let one of them take it home so their mom could read it to them again. The next day, the mom and her daughter joined the church and asked to be baptized. I think this book may have been the inspiration for that. Praise God."
Ministers Zaricor and Lillie Jackson, inner-city street ministry, Watts, CA

How Do Alligators Praise the Lord by Kirk Franklin

"Never again will you look at a swamp in the same way! Kirk Franklin’s heart to praise the Lord shines through, and kids will love it! We have more in common with the catfish and dragonfly than I realized! We all live to praise the Lord! The CD that is included with the book adds a real bite to the experience!"
Scott Aber, Counselor, Tampa, Florida

"How do Alligator's Praise the Lord was my favorite book. It was fun to read and the rhyming text will keep a child's attention. The pictures are captivating and too much fun."

Big Bad Bible Bullies by Scott Hagan

"Bullies have become such a real menace to kids in today’s society, leading to such tragedies like Columbine and most recently in Minnesota; I loved how Scott Hagan related this issue to Biblical stories. Big Bad Bible Bullies shows how God can and will help when we ask Him, even if the bully we face has big muscles and bad breath! I wish that every parent would sit down with their children, read Big Bad Bible Bullies to them, and teach them how to cope with bullying God’s way."
Scott Aber, Counselor, Tampa, Florida

This is a book that we would love to give our grandchildren . The stories are those taken from the scripture and address an issue that many children face. From the first story of Esther , the problem of bullies is legitimized as something children need to talk to their parents or teachers about. Each story addresses the bully in a different way and shows (as in the story of Paul) that bullies can change. They can have a heart change because of Jesus Christ. The end of the book simplifies for the child what he can do to help himself when faced with a bully or bullying situation. It also addresses what God thinks of bullies. It teaches the child that God's love is the answer.

Happy Birthday to Me by David and Tessie DeVore

Learning, accepting and loving other cultures and languages is encouraged in Happy Birthday to Me, which is awesome because God made all people and it is one of the Greatest Commands to love our neighbor. This book reflects some school's Character Education programs, which teach kindness and respect. It is written with Spanish words sprinkled among the English words while teaching the traditions of a Latin and an American birthday celebration. This book is a wonderful model of honoring and rejoicing in all peoples.
Lesley, Sunday School Teacher and Parent

"Happy Birthday to Me is one of the best children's books I have ever read. This book deals with cultural differences in such a beautiful way. It teaches acceptance. I can't say enough about how much my daughter and I enjoyed this book."
Lucretia, Parent, Nottigham, MD

The Acts Bible Storybook by Jack Hayford

"The Acts Bible Storybook is a chapter book but children will love the illustrations and being introduced to and recognizing the Holy Spirit. I recommend the book for second graders and up."
